SIA is an environmentally friendly campus with a focus on sustainable living. Solar panels provide both senior and junior dormitories with hot water. The biogas plant supplies 25% of the gas needs of the kitchen and Waste-Warriors recycle the waste produced in the school by an NGO. The infrastructure of the school helps us to harvest rainwater that is used for various purposes. In the founding years of the school, a tree-planting scheme resulted in a green, leafy campus, contributing to clean, uncontaminated air.
